St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Illinois was recently named one of the Top 100 Rural & Community Hospitals in the United States by The Chartis Center for Rural Health.

The Effingham Fire Department conducted training on the old Open MRI building the weeks of February 4 and 11.

HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital donated two Automated External Defibrillators to St. Anthony High School to assist them in emergency preparedness.

During Heart Health Awareness Month, HSHS St. Anthony’s Wound Healing Center is working to spread awareness about how cardiovascular diseases can affect the wound healing process.

On March 8, a free presentation and luncheon on Navigating Public Transportation will be conducted in Newton by Rides Mass Transit in partnership with St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital.
